How does the math work?
Concentration = vial strength (mg) ÷ solvent (mL). Draw volume = amount ÷ concentration. Syringe
units = draw volume × units-per-mL (U-100 = ×100). Example: a 10 mg vial in 2 mL is 5 mg/mL; a
250 mcg amount is 0.05 mL, which is 5 units on a U-100 syringe.
